Star Rod
It's said to bring good dreams to all the people in Dream Land! The Star Rod is available as a battering item. Simply put, press the action button to pick it up, and press it once more to make your swing!
It's a decent melee weapon.
Like other battering weapons available, the Star Rod can be charged, too. This is done by holding a side direction and the action button. Release it and use the feature the Star Rod is best known for; the star-shaped projectiles!
You are given sixteen magical star bolts.
Using your throw button will make you throw your item (shield and action button at the same time also works). If a thrown Star Rod connects with an opponent, it'll come in hard.
They blast horizontally!
In Kirby's Adventure, the Star Rod was used to defeat the final boss, Nightmare. It could be found in the center of Fountain of Dreams.
