Jungle Hijinx

Donkey Kong Country, a game released for the Super Nintendo, was one of it's kind. It revolutionalized the graphics of that time. This was Donkey Kong's first big adventure. We've brought it all to our game, in Jungle Hijinx.

Renovated from the first stage in Donkey Kong Country!

One of the things we wanted to achieve was a feeling of landscape. The floor is bumpy, there are multiple ground levels and the thing that's distinctive for this stage - Donkey Kong's hut!

It appears to be a bit smaller then the original.

Located in the middle of the battleground are two trees. They serve as platforms, but they also dispense two stage-only items.

Grab this delicious banana to heal some damage points.

Shake the tree, knock it down with a few good attacks!

The other tree grows coconuts. These are very valuable in the jungle, and they are in this stage, too! You use it as a throwing item. One hit with this coconut will momentarily stun the opponent, and then send them flying! It leaves quite an impression of weight.

This looks like some sort of standoff.

This stage is a big island standing tall.. Some characters will be able to make great use of the sides of it.
